Period of full-time training for this course is 2 years. Students are required to undergo skills training for 1 year 6 months from semester 1 to 3 at the institute and undergo industrial training for 6 months in semester 4.
The Computer Network Technology program is designed for entry-level students to develop skills needed to gain employment as computer network installation, configuration, and support technicians.
The course is conducted based on skills 70% practical and 30% theory teaching. The students will be exposed to plan implementation and the establishment of the network, hardware and software installation and maintenance, and troubleshoot a computer system. The students are also exposed to the computer network management and documentation as well as introduced to the management of legal issues and computer system security.
